Buying a personal computer can be daunting. There are so many options, and so many technical terms that it's difficult to identify what you really need, and equally importantly what you don't need.

The first step towards choosing the best computer for your needs is to make sure you really understand what you need it for, and how you'll use it. The next page contains a list of questions that you should consider to help ensure that you fully understand this before buying.
