Waterfall Salto Angel or Angel is a free-falling waterfall the highest in the world with aheight of 979 meters (3212 feet) with no barriers fall around 807 meters (2647 feet).This waterfall is located in the Rio Caroni, Canaima National Park, Venezuela.

Although first seen in the early 20th century by the explorer Ernesto de Santa Cruz, the waterfall was not known officially the world until discovered by American aviator, JamesCrawford Angel in flight looking for the gold mine site. In 1936, James Angel returnedand landed his plane near a waterfall. This waterfall is called "Waterfalls Angel" in memory of its discoverer, James Crawford Angel. Pemon Indians called this waterfall as"Auyan-tepui" ("Aiyan-tepui") which means "Mountain of Satan".
Official altitude is determined by the National Geographic Society in 1949. This waterfallis the most famous tourist attractions in Venezuela.

 In Peru there is the third highest waterfall in the world with the name of Three SistersFalls (Cataratas las Tres Hermanas) in the Ayacucho region. Waterfall called the Three Sisters because apart from the three levels. Two of the levels of which are only visiblefrom the air, and water drops into a large tub in which a third less palatable menceburiappear. Waterfalls are almost entirely surrounded by forest, and trees around the ThreeSisters Falls to reach as high as 100 feet. This waterfall reaches a height of about 914.

There is already accounted's National Geographical Institute of Peru, that in Peru havediscovered Yumbilla Falls in Peru with a height of 870 meters. Yumbilla Falls with fourhuge water flow. The present invention replace the position of Gocta Falls (771 meters),which is also located in the Amazon region countries
